Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for residential deed restriction compliance; compliance drives of both new homes and resale homes; and assisting in administering the various committees involved with Community Standards. There may also be involvement with commercial deed restriction enforcement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for performing deed restriction drives of residential properties and all related communications with the Owner. Perform, at a minimum, compliance drives of all residential properties monthly, with follow up drives per schedule and consistent with the Deed Restriction Enforcement Policy and Deed Restriction Philosophy.
• Perform Certificate of Compliance inspections for new and re-sale properties within the time period required.
• Respond to complaints or input from Owners regarding a violation at a property; properties under construction, properties scheduled for hearings, etc.
• Initiate any “self-help” to be performed on any property in violation consistent with policies and coordinate with contractor.
• Recommend policies and procedures for compliance for both internal customer and external customer (members).
• Interacts professionally with the public (members, real estate agents, builders, etc.). Respond to customer calls timely and follow up where applicable to ensure issues are resolved.
• Coordinate with volunteer groups (ex. Hearing Advisory Committee, Modifications Committee, Residential Review Committee) related to compliance as needed, etc. Administrative preparation for Modifications and Hearing Advisory committees, including but not limited to creating agendas, minutes and documentation for the committees to review.
• Attend committee and staff meetings as needed, which may occur after regular business hours.
• Assist with various office functions and duties as requested, such as temporary relief for receptionist, misc. office maintenance, etc.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
